RETROFITS

Residential and commercial buildings throughout the tri-state area are shifting to newer technologies. These technologies come in the form of electric motors that meet new high efficiency ratings, as well as, new pump designs that allow for higher pump hydraulic efficiencies. Here at Pumping Solutions, we can help you achieve such goals. We have the capability to engineer, supply, and install your new pump equipment. For example, an existing Split Case Style Domestic Water Pump with a 30 horsepower electric Motor could be replaced with a Vertical Multi-Stage Pump with a 20 horsepower electric Motor. The newer pump designs allow to compensate for the horsepower difference while providing the same capacity and discharge pressure. The energy savings from a pump retrofit of this type could pay for the upgrade in several years.

PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES

Pumping Solutions, Inc. provides troubleshooting, repair, and replacement services for Pressure Reducing Valves. Often found on Booster Pump Systems, the Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV) are a key component of such systems. Their job is to provide a steady supply of water pressure after the pumps. We service brands such as Cla-Val, Watts, Flomatic, and Singer.

FIRE PUMPS AND JOCKEY PUMPS

Fire Pumps are Centrifugal Pumps used for firefighting in commercial buildings, factories, and other types of structures. Every Fire Pump we service is properly disassembled, inspected, cleaned, re-assembled and thoroughly tested. Whether your pump requires general maintenance or a complete overhaul, we have the knowledge and the expertise to complete the job and have your fire pump back in service as soon as possible. Pumping Solutions, Inc. provides fire pump flow testing. We utilize equipment such as pitot gauges and the “Hose Monster” to perform annual fire pump flow test for residential and commercial highrise buildings. The purpose of the flow test is to ensure the Fire Pump operates per manufacturer’s ratings.
